Rémy Laure,

Rémy Laure began with one product: the Black Mask, launched for beauty salons in 1971. Its founder had seen what mud treatments did for his own skin and health during a long stay in the mountains, and was convinced this natural Moortherapy belonged in the salon.
The family behind the brand has worked in beauty and perfumery since 1921 and still runs the company today, with a fourth generation now joining. That continuity keeps the formulas, the quality and the relationship with salons steady.
Every product is made in the south of France under ISO 22716 good manufacturing practice, and tested for effectiveness, stability and skin safety.

Rémy Laure formulates at the intersection of mineral science, marine biology and advanced cosmetic chemistry. Minerals and the skin
Skin cannot manufacture its own minerals. Magnesium, zinc, calcium, silicon and copper all arrive from outside, and they govern the processes that keep skin working: cellular energy, barrier repair, enzyme activity, pH balance.
Those reserves fall with age, stress and sun exposure. Rémy Laure formulates to put them back, at concentrations high enough to act rather than simply appear on a label.

Marine DNA
Marine DNA is a high molecular weight polymer drawn from marine sources. On the skin it behaves as a water-binding film, holding moisture at the surface while supporting the cellular repair processes that slow with age.
Paired with soluble collagen and botanical actives, it forms the basis of the D.N.A. line, developed for skin that has lost density and needs both moisture and structure.

Moortherapy
Moor is peat formed over thousands of years, as generation after generation of plants decomposed underwater without oxygen. What remains is a dense organic matter carrying humic and fulvic acids, plant hormones, vitamins and trace elements in a form the skin can take up.
European spa medicine has used moor baths for centuries. Rémy Laure brought that practice into cosmetic form in 1971, and moor has anchored the range ever since.

Rémy Laure has searched the world for pure earth muds that can genuinely improve the skin.
The muds come from deep in the earth: alpine valleys, lakes and wild countryside. Formed slowly over centuries and protected from pollution, each one is studied so it can be used to its full effect.
Every mud has its own benefits, and Rémy Laure puts them to work to energise the skin and counter the stress of city life. The Black Mask that launched the brand in 1971 is built on this mud, and it is still part of the range today.
The precious
minerals
Beneath the trace mineral complex that runs through every formula sits a smaller group of materials, used sparingly and chosen deliberately. Gold, silver, jade, black pearl, diamond and malachite each appear in a specific product, for a specific reason.

Gold
Used in the Black Cream and the Natural Mud Mask. Gold is chemically stable and does not oxidise, which is why cosmetic chemistry has borrowed it from a much older medical tradition.

Silver
Present in the Natural Mud Mask alongside iodine, copper and a spectrum of trace elements. Part of the mineral charge the mask is built around.

Jade
In the Black Cream. Jade comes into the formula through gemmotherapy, the European practice of working with stone minerals, and is used here for reactive skin.

Black pearl
Tahitian black pearl, ground fine, in the Precious Face Oil. A pearl is built from the same minerals as the shell around it, which is what the extract carries.

Diamond
Also in the Precious Face Oil, as a remineralising extract, paired with black orchid and macadamia in a formula that finishes dry rather than oily.

Malachite
In the Energizing Mineral Mask. A copper carbonate stone, and the most bio-available form of copper anywhere in the range, working with hyaluronic acid and centella.
